Hi, Skin July Sprint
15-Minute Visible Slot Model
15-minute slots are visible booking start-time options, not 15-minute services. The model reduces perceived scarcity by making available inventory easier to say yes to.
This operates behind the scenes. Studio teams are not required to log into, manage, or learn a new software platform.
Perceived Availability
Hi, Skin may be losing demand when available inventory is not presented in the way clients actually shop for appointments.
Clients do not shop for appointments in perfect hourly blocks. They shop around work, childcare, lunch, commute time, and personal windows. If the booking screen only presents round-hour options, available studio capacity can still feel unavailable. The July Sprint improves demand capture by making the available inventory easier to say yes to.
Current vs Proposed Presentation
The proposed model can use 30-minute or 15-minute visible options where feasible without shortening treatments.

Booking Visibility Model
The opportunity is to reduce perceived scarcity and booking-page abandonment without rebuilding scheduling in July.
Current Top-of-Hour Booking Model
- Fewer visible appointment options
- More apparent scarcity
- More booking-page abandonment
- Less flexibility around client preference
- Potential checkout congestion at predictable hour blocks
15-Minute Visible Slot Model
- More visible start-time options
- Better demand capture across the day
- More flexible client selection
- Better micro-gap utilization
- Helps smooth front desk / checkout resourcing
- Does not shorten service length
- Does not change clinical/service standards
- Does not require a custom scheduling engine in July
Why This Matters
Hi, Skin does not need to shorten treatments to increase demand capture. The opportunity is to increase visible booking options and reduce abandonment caused by perceived lack of availability. A client looking for 10:30 may abandon if only 10:00 or 11:00 appears available. A 15-minute visible slot model increases the number of acceptable booking choices while preserving service length, provider standards, and treatment quality.
Operational note
This also helps checkout resourcing by reducing predictable top-of-hour congestion and smoothing arrivals, checkouts, and front desk handoffs throughout the day.
